Crafted to Perfection - Backed by Our Guarantee.

We, at Griffin Feather, believe that every person who orders from us deserves the absolute best. We strive to maintain a level of excellence that allows our customers to know that the items they have purchased will be of the highest quality craftsmanship and stand the test of time.

Each one of the pieces that we craft is signed, not in a visible location, by the craftsperson who does the final stitching or riveting. This is our mark of quality. The same craftsperson will also hand sign the care sheet included in each piece. The piece is meticulously inspected for deficiency in the craftsmanship and rejected for sale if any are found. Please know, due to the nature of leather, there will always be some variations or flaws in the leather but we minimize those whenever possible.

To show our commitment to our work, we offer a guarantee on every piece that we sell. This guarantee is for the expected lifespan of the item that you order. Further details will be provided below.

  • Our Wanderer's, Adventurer's, Explorer's, and Pathfinder collections have an expected lifespan of 20 years.

These lifespans are expected with proper care of the leather and expected use. If any problem were to occur in the expected lifespan, with proper care and within expected use, we will replace the item, either exact or with a new comparable item, at no cost. If, after inspecting the item, we find that the damage was due to not being cared for or through unexpected use, we will offer to replace the item at half of the original purchase price.

Examples of expected use.

  • For Bracers: Worn in enviroments that may cause impact with abrasive objects, exposed to water and food items, may have contact with metal on clothing.
  • For Journals: folding or bending the journal along its long axis; placing a standard size writing instrument in the pen loop; using a hardcover journal not provided by Griffin Feather; using the card slots for standard size plastic or metal cards.

Examples of non-intended use.

  • For Bracers: used to protect the arm from sharp objects, used as a true armor piece, used to block a fireball.
  • For Journals: using the journal to hit anything; using it to sweep or move hot items; throwing it against or onto hard surfaces; inserting a journal that is too large for the journal pocket.

This list and these examples are not all inclusive and each item will be inspected when received to determine if the damage was the result of misuse or workmanship. To begin a guarantee resolution, please reach out to us using the form below.
